My name is Andrei Barbu, and I am the founder of DR DRIVE - School of Motoring. Driving has been my passion for many years, and with over 10 years of professional driving experience and more than 10 million miles covered, I bring a wealth of real-world knowledge and expertise to every lesson.

Throughout my driving career, I have experienced a wide range of road conditions, environments, and challenging situations. In addition to my extensive driving experience, I have completed an advanced rally driving course, which has given me a deeper understanding of vehicle control, handling techniques, anticipation, and how to react safely in unexpected situations. I use this knowledge to help my students become more confident, aware, and prepared drivers.

My passion is teaching and helping people achieve something that can truly change their lives — gaining independence through driving. Every learner is different, so I provide a patient, friendly, and personalised approach, adapting lessons to suit each student’s individual learning style, confidence level, and goals.
